The Gospel
The good news of what God has done for us through Jesus Christ.
We Are Sinners
The Bible teaches that every person has sinned and fallen short of God's standard, and stands in need of a Savior.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
— Romans 3:23, KJV
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
— Romans 6:23, KJV
Christ Died for Our Sins
God demonstrated His love toward us in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died in our place, paying the penalty we owed.
“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:3, KJV
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
— Romans 5:8, KJV
Christ Was Buried
Christ's death was real and complete — He was buried, confirming that He truly died for our sins.
“And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:4, KJV
Christ Rose Again
On the third day, Christ rose from the dead — victorious over sin and death, proving that His sacrifice was accepted and sufficient.
“Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.”
— Romans 4:25, KJV
Salvation Is by Grace Through Faith
Salvation is not earned by good works or human effort. It is a free gift, received by faith alone in what Christ has already accomplished.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
— Ephesians 2:8–9, KJV
What Must I Do?
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Trust in His finished work — His death, burial, and resurrection — as the sole basis for your salvation, and you will be saved.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
— Romans 10:9, KJV
